BRIEF:
Last summer we put out an open call for the group show and publication: ‘Love in the Time of Covid’. The zine and exhibition became a collection of artists’ responses to making art during the pandemic, at a point where we did not know how long the limbo of lockdown would last. Searching for some hope in the mayhem, we asked for pieces made directly responding to that novel situation.
Now almost a full year later, still in the midst of confusion that now seems familiar, we are holding a second open call for artworks inspired by the title of ‘Love and Chaos’ again to form a publication and exhibition. The feelings of love and chaos seem apt starting points of a more wide-ranging brief where artists are encouraged to take the themes in any direction they wish, interpreted as broadly or as literally as desired.
THEME: Love & Chaos (open to interpretation)
MEDIUM: All including visual art, film, sound, text, and performance are welcome.
