Dear Guest,
I would like to invite you to brighten up a Tuesday night in January, by joining myself and my collaborators at an event celebrating the launch of an exciting contemporary art venture, started here in Glasgow.
The Network Project is a foreseen long-term series of collaborations initiated and lead by myself, artist-curator JD Nealon.
Tamagotchi Kids, which will be the first iteration of The Network Project, will see myself work alongside artists Jamie Steedman and Josh Rowell in an open studio at The Alchemy Experiment on Byres Road, between 16th-23rd January. During this time, visitors will be invited to interact with the open studio in which we will be working day-to-day on ideas around ‘the poster’, public participation and the deconstruction of the conventional gallery.
Following this process of collaboration, an opening event will take place from 7PM on Tuesday 24th January 2023.
The opening will be the first public launch of the work created during the week of collaboration and will allow guests to see the works created and engage with the artists.
It would be a pleasure to have you join us for the evening, which for us will be particularly special.
