FREE ENTRY
‘A group show’ brings together the work of Glasgow based artists Angus Fernie, Colette Kerr and Kirsty Lackie.
Creating dreamlike spaces and distinctively absurd worlds and stories existing somewhere between the remembered and imagined, these three artists have presented painted portals through which we can escape both the chaos and mundanity of reality and normality.

Colette Kerr
Colette Kerr is a visual artist from Coatbridge based in Glasgow, where she graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2018. Colette explores narrative through mixed media, painting, drawing and writing. With a focus on places and memory (real or imagined), her work is a constant attempt to visualise a specific moment in time.
Angus Fernie
Angus Fernie (b. 1996, Glasgow) is a Glasgow based painter. Having graduated in 2018 from the Glasgow School of Art’s Painting and Printmaking BA (2018), Fernie works primarily in oils, playing with absurdist ideas of silliness. Angus has exhibited across Glasgow as well as in London and Texas.
Kirsty Lackie
Kirsty Lackie (b.1989) is a Glasgow based artist who paints and draws. She studied Communication Design at The Glasgow School of Art (2018) specialising in illustration. She works primarily with oil pastel and acrylics to create playful compositions that tell stories, often featuring an assorted cast of characters.
Lackie has exhibited work recently in a group show at Contemporary Six Gallery (Manchester, 2024) and a solo show at Boardroom Committee Room (Glasgow, 2023). Two of her paintings were recently commissioned for Hôtel de la Boétie (Paris, 2023).
