Celebrating Art and the Body

Founded in 2017, I Am More Than is a community-driven body inclusivity campaign created to challenge the unrealistic beauty standards made by the fashion industry and mainstream media, by hosting exhibitions, events, inclusive fashion shows, photoshoots, podcasts and more all with the aim of celebrating talents and embracing what makes people unique.

Inspired from lived experience, the project was co-founded by Rosalind Main and Morgan McTiernan, both fashion models from Scotland, who experienced firsthand the pressures of unrealistic beauty standards. In response, they collaborated and co-founded I Am More Than, the platform that celebrates all bodies, all identities, and the radical act of self-acceptance. Their belief is simple: we are all more than our physical appearance, and we should not define how we see ourselves through unrealistic beauty standards online or in the media.
