Fangyu Dong is a Glasgow-based curator whose practice explores the relationship between the individual and society through fiction, existential inquiry, and site-specific collaboration. Deeply committed to amplifying artists' voices, she approaches curation as a shared process of thinking and making. Her recent projects include Freedom in Flux, a narrative-driven exhibition questioning the paradox of freedom, the Weave In-Between handbound book workshop was held alternately in Edinburgh and Glasgow in June, curating like threading a needle-binding scattered experiences into soft interventions, emotional knots, and collective care. And Borrowing Six Hours from the Thames, a site-specific intervention. She is currently pursuing an MA in Curatorial Practice in GSA.
