15 MAR 24

MAY 24 (TBA)

After the incredible response we received over the past three years with Love in the Time of Covid (2020), Love & Chaos (2021) and It'll Be Alright (2022), Alchemy's annual open call for art opens its doors once again.
"Curtains" invites artists
from all backgrounds to explore and interpret the theme in its diverse forms.  Beyond their tangible existence, curtains symbolise a variety of meanings, serving as both objects and metaphors for mystery, revelation, transitions, and privacy.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly and to take it in any direction they wish, considering cultural, historical, personal, or societal perspectives. We look forward to a diverse and original collection of artworks.

THEME: Curtains (open to interpretation)

painting, drawing (including digital), printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography & design
