‘Tangible Bodies’ is a collaborative exhibition by the members of Glasgow University Art and Life Drawing Society (GUALDS).

 

This exhibition centres on interpretations of the body.

The range of medium, size, and duration spent on each piece reflects both the diverse but unequivocal talent of our society and the expansive nature of the body as subject. The presentation of the work is designed first to allude to each piece’s individuality, whilst the amalgamation of understandings and perspectives on the body converges to create a collective whole.
The work in this showcase has been largely completed within our weekly life drawing sessions.


As it is the case that the current GUALDS committee are all to graduate and move on with their careers after this year, we want to dedicate this exhibition as a final thank you to all of our members who have made our running of this society so memorable and for their contribution to the community we have built.
